About LD COX
LD was a very loving, God fearing, athletic, stylish, trendsetter, funny, giving, encouraging and determined young man. In LD’s 18 years of living he touched a lot of his peers through his random acts of silliness just to see them smile, giving to those in need when he could and protecting the ones getting bullied for life challenges rather it was physical or financial. Other than being stylish and charming the faith he had for God was remarkable. LD set a goal for himself when he entered the 10th grade and it was to read the entire Bible before his graduation day (5/27/17), LeDajrick certainly was determined and he achieved his goals. The first verse LD learned was his all-time favorite, Psalms 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me”and that verse became his only tattoo at the age of 18 years old. LD was an extraordinary brother who also supported, protected and encouraged his younger sisters. LD brought so much joy and love to my life on 2/28/1999! •The purpose of the LD Cox Foundation is to redirect the mentalities and the path of the young adults as well as show support while providing encouraging words and resources.
•We the members of the LD Cox Foundation will offer on-going support services and mentoring to encourage at risk young adults offering life skills, management skills, achieve a balance between physical health and fitness, maintain and organized community take back program, how to establish a healthy relationship ,build self-esteem and values within the community.
